About

hello there! i'm anna micklin, a native seattle-ite. by day (and a lot of nights), i work at a 110-year-old independent bookstore, promoting and setting up author events. i like to garden, bake, read and take lots of photographs. this shop is here to provide a little color and inspiration to the walls of art lovers. it is also is a way to reconnect with the beauty of physical items, of paper, and of visual stimulation outside of a screen.

my main cameras are a vintage yashica electro 35GSN, a pentax k1000 and a medium format holga. sweet potato anna is devoted to film and all the uncertainty, nostalgia and surprise that comes along with it. all photographs are printed locally on premium quality, archival paper with white borders and an artist signature. for most orders, please allow a 5-7 business days for items to ship. i usually print an image especially for you and need time to take it down to my local photo lab. i wrap my packages as little gifts, safely, securely and beautifully and i ship exclusively through USPS.

*custom sizes are always available, just let me know what you are looking for and i'll give you a quote.

if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at sweetpotatoanna (@) gmail (.) com
